Scott “The Freezer” Frost
Scott Frost walked into a poolroom at 16, lost the $22 in his pocket, and decided he was going to learn how to play pool.
That decision turned into a 30-plus-year career as one of the most respected and feared players in the game.
Known around the world as “The Freezer,” Scott built his reputation on the road, taking on the best players he could find and earning a name for fearless competition and exceptional One Pocket strategy. His aggressive style eventually became known as Power One Pocket.
Scott’s résumé includes championships at the U.S. Open One Pocket, Derby City Classic, and Legends of One Pocket, along with major titles across multiple disciplines. He was inducted into the One Pocket Hall of Fame in 2019.
But tournament trophies only tell part of the story. Scott is equally famous for the road game — including legendary marathon sessions and high-stakes matches where thousands of dollars could change hands overnight.
Today, Scott continues to compete, teach, and share the knowledge accumulated through decades at the highest levels of the game.
The trophies are impressive. The stories are legendary. And The Freezer is still at the table.
